How to prevent acne: That is the question that millions of people worldwide have had for decades. Acne is a very stubborn disease that causes embarrassment to millions of people. But once you know what you're doing, you can prevent acne for the rest of your life. It just takes some knowledge, which is hard to come by because of so many drug companies trying to sell you their newest cream or pill.

Here are some tips that will help you prevent (and get rid of) acne: for good.

  • Know what foods cause acne
  • If I had a dollar for every time a doctor or dermatologist told me that acne was not caused by diet … Well, I'd probably only have like 6 bucks. But it's a very common misconception. It has been proven over and over again that the wrong diet habits do infact cause acne. But, like I said earlier, if you know how to prevent acne with proper diet, exercise, and supplements, then they can not sell you harmful drugs. Avoiding foods that cause inflammation and mess with your hormones is something you need to learn how to do if you want to prevent acne.

  • Know what foods help acne
  • The opposite also holds true. Pimples, zits, blackheads, and cysts can all be helped by regularly eating the right foods. Omega 3 rich foods is one such example, because it's great at decreasing inflammation and reducing stress (which extremely causes acne).

  • Know what supplements to take
  • This step is for people that have a hard time keeping the right diet. Sometimes it's easier to take a high quality, all natural supplement from their local health food store. This is something I do, and helped clear me after 12 years. Anti-inflammatory supplements that also help with digestion are key here.
