Eating a diet that’s made mainly of raw foods will reap you many benefits. It’s like you’ve turned back time. You’ll look and feel younger, you’ll have a more youthful energy, and you’ll feel alive. And that’s just the beginning.
You’ll be able to easily maintain a weight that’s healthy and if you have extra pounds, they’ll begin to disappear. Fiber is necessary to being healthy and raw foods are rich in fiber, specifically the type called cellulose, which is needed to lose weight.
You’ll find your skin not only looks younger but it will be clearer. The vitamins and minerals in raw food are just what the doctor ordered for clearer, more youthful skin. Chronic skin conditions disappear and other chronic illnesses and allergies also disappear in as little as a month. You’ll also reduce your risk of heart disease, diabetes, and other serious health problems.
You can quickly see why celebrities like Alicia Silverstone, Demi Moore, or Uma Thurman are using the raw food diet and why they are touting its benefits to the world. Eating raw is what our ancestors did. It’s actually quite easy to put together recipes using the raw diet. Here are some ideas to get you started.
6 apples slice half thinly and chop the other half
1 cup raisins. Soak for at least 2 hours first
2 Tbsp Cinnamon
1 Tbsp lemon juice
Half Tbsp Celtic Sea Salt
3 cups Pecans
1/2 cup Pitted Dates
You need to blend one of the chopped apples, lemon juice, raisins, Celtic salt, nutmeg, and cinnamon until smooth – use your blender. Pour this sauce over the thin slices of apples and then give it a nice toss, a few times until everything is coated. Spread an even layer of the apple mix into your medium lasagna pan. Now finely chop the pecans, add the dates, and continue to grind until everything is chopped up and well mixed. Crumble a layer over the apples. Now dehydrate the entire pan at 120 degrees for 2 to 3 hours. Serve warm with coconut cream. You can do this same recipe with other fruits. You can also eat this fresh without dehydrating if you like.
Mocked Up Meatballs
2 cup Brazil Nuts – soak for 4 hours and rinse
2 cup sunflower seeds – soak for 4 hours and rinse
2 Tbsp Nama Shoyu
1 tsp Celtic Sea Salt
3 Tbsp fresh sage
3 Tbsp fresh rosemary
3 cloves garlic
In the food processor finely chop the Brazil nuts in a food processor, set them aside, and then blend the remaining ingredients excluding the sunflower seeds. Once things are finely chopped, you can add the sunflower seeds and process until it makes a pate. Now mix in the Brazil nuts. Dehydrate the meatballs for about 4 hours until slightly crusty, or use as a pate.
So there you have it.
As you can see, the raw food diet can be very exciting and use a whole lot of ingredients you may have never used before. So give it a try and see if you can feel the anti aging benefits for yourself.
