Fast Acne Treatment

Everyone suffering from acne problem is looking for a quick and easy acne treatment. They try whatever they can find, be it buying skin products, going for facial treatments or consulting a skin doctor. All these might help to alleviate the problem a little, but they do not really solve the actual problem that is deep-rooted inside your body.

There are many acne treatments and you can choose to use them concurrently. However, I would only recommend natural acne remedies. Do some of the skincare products that you see on TV works? Yes, to a certain extent. But you must remember that most of these acne treatments contain many other chemicals which will have other side effects in the future. In certain cases, it might even worsen your acne condition.

Stop acne from within your body

Most of you who suffer from acne could be due to what is going on in our bodies. You might be suffering from a food allergy that you are unaware of. In addition, our bodies are intoxicated with plenty of harmful chemicals that go into the food we eat and the air we breathe. We need to remove them using detox remedies. These chemicals might contribute to hormonal imbalance, which leads to acne breakouts. You can find many such remedies by doing an online search. Remove these toxins in your body and you will be on your way to a healthy-looking skin.

Another simple and yet effective way to treat acne is to drink plenty of water. Water can help remove the toxins in your body, thus speeding up the detox process. You should stick to drinking at least 8 glasses of water each day. Your skin will also look more radiant when you hydrate enough.

Stop acne from the outside

Look out for skincare products that contain honey. Honey is very useful in acne treatment because it contains enzymes that can help slow or even stop the growth of bacteria on your face. Honey is also rich in antioxidants, which can help remove free radicals on your face. These antioxidants can boost tissue growth, and at the same time, help in scar-healing. Opt for a honey facial mask or facial wash. It can be a little costly, but it is definitely well-worth your money. This is a natural acne treatment that you can try out.

Do not wash your face too often. You might think that washing often can help remove oil and dirt, but washing your face too often can make your skin too dry, thus allowing your oil glands to produce even more oil! This will worsen your acne condition. Use a suitable cleanser. If you have no idea what is your skin
condition, you might want to consult a dermatologist first before you begin any acne treatment.

At Home Anti Aging Skin Care (Without Anti-Aging Skin Creams)

Besides buying a shelf full of anti aging wrinkle creams to eliminate those unwanted lines and wrinkles, what else can you do (perhaps cheaper) for anti aging skin care?

One thing you can do is consume more fish oils or take a fish oil supplement. Fish oils are a natural anti-inflammatory, and anti-inflammatories are good for the skin. There have been studies showing that after taking fish oil supplements for three months, the skin’s firmness can increase by 10%.

Other supplements that benefit the skin (or anti aging skin care dietary supplements, as it were) include grape seed extract, lycopene, and tea catechins.

A far simpler (and no doubt more pleasurable) anti aging skin care measure you can take is to drink a glass of red wine now and then. Studies have shown that a glass of red wine a day is good for your heart. But it has also been discovered that an ingredient in red wine called resveratrol, that’s been associated with longevity in moderate amounts, may help your skin stay looking young.

Some non-dietary anti-aging skin care steps you can take without buying creams include reducing your risk of overexposure to the sun. Using a good sun block (with the emphasis on the word “good”, meaning it blocks out harmful UV rays without putting any harmful artificial ingredients into your skin) can help preserve your skin’s youthfulness and stave off premature wrinkles and other signs of aging for a long time to come, as can quitting smoking. Cigarette smoking is not only harmful to your insides, it’s also harmful to your outsides.

All in all, there’s a lot you can do for anti aging skin care without having to buy any creams.

Rosacea Care and What You Need to Know About It

To start your Rosacea care we need to first understand what it is and how we can recognize it. It is one of most common skin diseases out there and is effecting about 1 of 20 people here in the US alone. And even a greater ratio in under developed nations where sanitation is worst than here. Researchers still don’t know the exact reason why certain people get it and why others don’t and is currently being researched as to why some get it. The main symptoms of Rosacea are redness on the nose, cheeks and the forehead. And sometimes these can flare up to be so red that it can be quite embarrassing for some.

Rosacea care can be tricky for some. Take note of when you notice more redness than usual. This can be a trigger so know when to avoid if you have to under certain situations. Some common triggers are when you drink alcohol, certain types of makeup with alcohol in it, spicy foods with pepper in them, direct sunlight when outside and even hot drinks like coffee or hot chocolate. If you can avoid your triggers it won’t be so hard to live with this condition.

There are some available treatments out there to take care of Rosacea. The first step and most used for sufferers is by going to the dermatologist. They will usually prescribe a lotion that will relieve the redness. This cost overall can be quite high due to the doctors visit and prescription but there also other ways to go about it. Home remedies is another choice that others use. From green tea to vitamins you can forget about the doctor’s office and do your own Rosacea care at home with natural ingredients.

Do Chocolate and Sex Really Cause Acne?

If you’ve heard it once you’ve probably heard it a dozen times – chocolate causes acne or sex causes acne. Or what about pizza, French fries, cola? There seams to be an endless supply of myths floating around about just what causes acne.

Whether it’s sex, chocolate, or specific foods – they are all myths. The only one that has some actual data backing it is high carb foods.

Once recent study in Australia did show that in rare cases high carb foods to cause acne flare ups in a small number of people. It’s believed this happens because of a spike in insulin levels that are needed to aid getting the glucose into the cells. This is referred to as insulin resistance and at the end of the day it is still tied to hormonal issues because these high levels of insulin result in higher levels of testosterone being produced, which can be linked to acne.

Let’s look at a few of these myths individually.

Myth #1 – Sex Causes Acne

Once you reach puberty your hormones change and you become sexually mature. It’s these same hormones that can be responsible for acne and that’s why the wrong conclusion has been reached about sex and acne.

Myth #2 – Chocolate Causes Acne

Just as other foods aren’t responsible for your acne chocolate isn’t either. And while some still believe French fries and other greasy foods are responsible for acne breakouts it’s simply not true. Although healthy eating can certainly reduce the number of breakouts and the severity.

Myth #3 – Dirty Skin Causes Acne

Just because you have acne doesn’t mean you don’t properly clean your skin. Sometimes the melanin in the black heads can make your skin look dirty. You can actually do more damage and cause an acne outbreak by scrubbing too hard or using products that are too harsh that strip away all of natural oils. When this happens your body compensates by producing larger volumes of oils on the rebound, which can cause pores to become clogged so, don’t make the mistake of stripping your skin of all its natural oils.

Myth #4 – Stress Causes Acne

Day to day stress does not cause acne, although some of the prescription medications used to treat depression and severe stress can cause acne flare-ups.

Myth #5 – There is No Treatment That Works to Cure Acne

That’s simply not true. While not every treatment will work on every person, a little trial and error and before long you should have a product that works well to reduce the acne even eliminate it. The lesson here is if one product doesn’t work then try another and another until you find one that does work.

There you have it. The truth about what doesn’t cause acne. Great news keep having sex and eating chocolate because it’s not what’s causing your acne.

New Anti-Aging Treatment Center for Celebrities in Korea

In November 2010 a new anti-aging center opened to the public in Korea, to this event were invited popular celebrities such as Kristin Davis from “Sex and the City”, pop singer Sheena Easton, actors such as Peter Fonda, Suzanne Somers and Yan Bin.

This new anti aging center combines western, oriental and alternative medicines that slow the aging process. Each celebrity was given a spa therapy, medical check up, stem cell skin care and a nutritional consultation.

The idea of making this trip to Korea was from the MTV founder Harlan Kleiman (Chairman of health consultancy ReGeneration). He made a trip to Korea in April when the center was in its first stages and liked so much the idea that recommended it with its celebrity friends.

It seems that Korea will be the new destination for celebrities that want to reverse the effects of aging.

Celebrities have always wanted to look for the latest and greatest technologies that will reverse the effects of aging, plastic surgery, HGH therapy, botox, acupuncture, chemical peels are some common treatments that celebrities undergo regularly.

However there are now many treatments and products that are accesible for the average person and get similar results without the high costs.

For example there are anti aging creams that can stimulate your skin cells to produce new collagen and elastin, this reduces wrinkles and smooths your skin.

There are also Human Growth Hormone Supplements that can reverse many of the effects of aging such as diseases, lack of energy, lack of focus, concentration and lots more.

You just need to do your proper research to buy the products that are safe to use and proven in clinical trials.

Reduce The Onset Of Acne Rosacea – Control Your Activity!

Acne Rosacea is the common term for Papulopustular Rosacea, which is in fact not actually a type of acne at all. Although it is accompanied by small red papules that may or may not be filled with pus to resemble common acne, Papulopustular Rosacea is in fact Rosacea, a skin disease caused by weakness in the blood vessels in the face that cause them to dilate more easily and for longer periods of time than normal if not permanently. No direct cause for Rosacea has been established although it is known to be a hereditary disease that affects more women than men and men more severely than women.

Rosacea is often brought on simply by extreme temperatures or extreme changes in temperatures for example going from a heated office to a frigid street or walking more than a few blocks in ninety degree weather is enough to make anyone’s face flush, the problem for Rosacea sufferers is that this flushing may not go away. A simple solution to this would be to regulate the temperature of your environment and avoid quick extreme temperature switches as well as avoiding exerting yourself in general as the simple flushing of your face when energized can cause Rosacea to occur. Protecting yourself from overexposure to sunlight is an imperative, always wear sunscreen as sunburn can trigger an outbreak extremely fast so avoid undue exposure to the sun as well.

Rosacea can also be brought on by certain foods. For acne sufferers the myth that chocolate or sodas bring on acne attacks are just that, myths. For Rosacea sufferers, spicy food can indeed bring on a Rosacea outbreak. Alcohol, caffeine, and foods high in histamine have been known to bring on outbreaks of rosacea. By now you’ve probably eradicated everything you like to eat from your diet going from that list, but there are alternatives and caffeine free versions of many drinks and food items including white chocolate or caffeine free chocolate.

Acne Rosacea should not be confused with acne as some of the treatments for severe acne like microdermabrasion and benzoyl peroxide which is found in most over the counter acne treatments can in fact irritate your rosacea and cause it to progress more quickly. Rosacea is a disease like many others and is treatable if not curable and more importantly it’s infinitely more livable than a lot of other skin problems. While you may be limited in some areas, it’s important to realize you are capable of doing a lot of things with Rosacea, if at a slower pace than most others.
